KEYWORD & CONTENT STRATEGY

Every future page gets a target, an intent, and a reason to exist — before anyone writes a word.

For teams already producing content on a schedule that still doesn’t rank.

Keyword & Content Strategy — illustrative report artefact

Why you're here

You’re publishing. The calendar is full. And none of it moves the needle, because the topics were chosen because they were easy to write, not because they could win. A keyword list handed to a freelance writer isn’t a strategy — it’s a guess repeated on a schedule, and every guess that doesn’t rank is a page you paid for and now have to maintain forever.

Keyword & Content Strategy — detail

What's included

  1. 01

    Full keyword map

Volume, difficulty, and business relevance scored together, not just search volume alone

  2. 02

    Search-intent clustering

Keywords grouped by what the searcher actually wants, not by string similarity

  3. 03

    Competitor gap analysis

What’s ranking against you that you don’t currently target

  4. 04

    Topical cluster architecture

Pillar and supporting-page structure, with internal linking logic built in

  5. 05

    6-month content calendar

Every entry mapped to a cluster, an intent, and a priority

  6. 06

    Ten full content briefs

The first ten pieces, ready to hand to a writer with no additional research needed

  7. 07

    Measurement plan

How you’ll know, month by month, whether the calendar is working

How it works

01

Research & data pull

Keyword and competitor data gathered before any clustering begins.

02

Clustering & competitor gap analysis

Keywords grouped by intent; gaps against competitors identified.

03

Calendar build & prioritisation

A 6-month calendar, every entry mapped to a cluster and a priority.

04

Brief writing & delivery

Ten full briefs, ready to hand to a writer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you write the content too?

No — this is the strategy and the briefs. You (or your writers) execute against them. That keeps the price fixed and the scope honest.

What if we already have a keyword list?

We’ll use it as a starting point, but the deliverable includes intent clustering and gap analysis most keyword-tool exports don’t do — expect the final map to look different from what you started with.

How specific are the briefs?

Specific enough that a competent writer doesn’t need to do their own keyword research — target keyword, search intent, recommended structure, competitor pages to beat, and internal links to include.

Can this work alongside our existing CMS/publishing workflow?

Yes — the calendar and briefs are format-agnostic; you slot them into whatever you already use to publish.

What happens after the first 10 briefs?

The 6-month calendar maps the full run; briefs for months 2–6 aren’t included in this deliverable, but the calendar tells you exactly what they need to cover.
