Technical SEO Audit — illustrative report artefact

Why you're here

Something changed. Traffic dropped after a migration, a redesign shipped and rankings didn’t come back, or a competitor with worse content keeps outranking you and nobody can say why. Most audits you’ve seen come back with forty vague recommendations and no sense of which one actually matters — and when you hand a 40-page PDF of generalities to your dev team, it gets deprioritised, because nobody wrote it for the people who have to fix it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the Deep tier or is Standard enough?

Standard covers up to 500 URLs — right for most single-site businesses. Deep is for larger or more complex sites (up to 5,000 URLs) and includes the engineering walkthrough, which matters if your dev team needs the "why" explained live, not just read.

Will my developers actually be able to act on this?

That’s the point of the format. Every item in the fix list is ranked by impact and effort and written as something a developer can ticket, not a marketing recommendation.

Do you implement the fixes yourselves?

No — the audit is diagnostic and prescriptive, not implementation. If you want ongoing hands-on work, ask about pairing the audit with a retainer during your strategy call.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

Then you’ll have a documented, dated record that the technical layer isn’t the problem, which narrows down where to look next — that’s a real outcome, not a wasted purchase.

Can you audit a site that isn’t live yet (staging)?

Yes, if it’s reachable by our crawler. Note it in the project details field at checkout.

How is this different from a free tool’s audit?

Free tools flag issues; they don’t rank them against your specific architecture, dev resources, or business priority, and they won’t get on a call with your engineers.
